The Global Product Manager - LF Custom Business is responsible for leading Cytiva’s Lab Filtration Custom Business portfolio globally. The role will involve setting the long‑term strategic plan for the portfolio, whilst ensuring completion of tactics and projects in the present to achieve the strategic vision. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Lab Filtration and is part of the Lab Filtration Business Unit, located in Europe and ideally on-site.
What You Will Do
- Build and socialize a 3–5 year strategic roadmap for the LF Custom portfolio, with clear value propositions, target segments, and product/regional focus.
- Define portfolio KPIs (revenue, gross margin, funnel value, win‑rate, cycle‑time) and ensure achievement via tracking and management of tactical plans via Daily Management.
- Lead Customer Insight programs including visits to Gemba and VoC work; apply insights to product strategy, product positioning, and go‑to‑market motions.
- Maintain a current view of the competitive arena and identify where/how to establish, enhance, or distinguish our service and product offering.
- Support new business opportunities by partnering with sales colleagues to ensure best chance of success on key opportunities and setting pricing for new projects.
- Own product lifecycle activity (vitality reviews, product hierarchy review, annual pricing increase activity) for LF custom portfolio and act as an escalation point for any customer issues (quality, price, supply, performance).
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Life Sciences, Strategy or Business.
- Familiarity with the Lab filtration portfolio and especially the custom services.
- Demonstrated success building global portfolio strategies and delivering outcomes through cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management; able to operate across regions and time zones.
Travel, Vehicle and Physical/Environment Requirements
- Ability to travel – with potential travel globally.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Product Management.
- Leads with DBS and exhibits the customer promise.
- Experience with pricing, segmentation, and product positioning; data‑driven decision‑making and financial acumen.
