The Finance Manager is a key finance business partner to the EMEA Hardware Solutions Commercial team, specifically supporting the Downstream Systems & Hardware and Upstream & Fluid Management business units. The individual is responsible for the forecasting, budgeting, closing, reporting and analysis of the commercial and financial insights on orders, sales and sales margin. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance EMEA and is part of the Commercial Finance team located in Amersham Place and will be an on‑site role.

What You Will Do

  • Develop monthly forecast and annual budget for orders, sales and sales margin, supported by clearly articulated assumptions, and identify key variances, risks and opportunities to forecast.
  • Support month‑end close activities in compliance with revenue recognition policies, including post‑close financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Provide relevant insights to commercial team through recurring and ad hoc analyses, including forecast accuracy, pricing, funnel management, win‑rate and top customer trends.
  • Prepare and lead regular reviews with the commercial team to support delivery of financial outcomes and drive alignment with cross‑functional teams, including Order to Remittance and Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Ad‑hoc projects to support broader team and business initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field; 5 or more years in financial analysis or commercial forecasting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Qlik Sense and Salesforce.com; strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Commercial & stakeholder partnership: Experience in business partnering with a proven ability to work cross‑functionally, apply critical thinking and clearly communicate complex ideas.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail‑oriented and well‑organised, with strong prioritisation skills, adaptability in a changing environment, and the ability to independently manage and improve processes.
  • Growth Mindset: Proactive problem solver with continuous improvement mindset, comfortable in constructively challenging assumptions and ways of working using data‑driven insight.
