As an IBP Leader, you integrate the planning process across Discovery & Medical OpCo, aligning supply chain and commercial strategies with senior leaders. You manage sales forecasts, act as a liaison with Plants, and ensure supply plans meet customer needs, establishing transparent communication and facilitating key decisions. Your role includes achieving KPI targets, managing inventory levels, and supporting regional demand planning and product lifecycle management.
This is an on-site role requiring you to be based at one of our three locations: Amersham, Cardiff, or Newquay.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and deliver KPI targets (example Forecast Accuracy) that are linked to the IBP process with P&L, Regions and Sites to ensure the portfolio is successful.
- Establish and drive process to ensure clear communication around supply & demand imbalances, including a fair allocation (vs forecast) of supply when constrained. Participate in (and lead where required) activities to manage finished goods inventory levels and inventory health.
- Support the regional demand planning teams through established and regular processes and coaching / supporting identification of continuous improvement actions to improve integration with Commercial teams and supply chain efficiency
- Support Product Leaders on Life Cycle Management: Analyze product portfolios with respect to sales volume, value and margins. Support and monitor new product introduction and discontinuation process, adjusting forecast accordingly. Review replenishment set ups and establish required follow ups. Make recommendations on stocking policies.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree with experience Supply Chain / Demand Planning or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain planning processes – CPIM certified being an advantage
- Knowledge of MRP processes & Advanced Planning systems – Demantra, APO or other ERP systems.
- Very strong analytical skills, able to deal with large amounts of data, in multiple formats and from different sources, consolidating all data and showing ability to identify and prioritize focus areas.
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details. Ability to prioritize and manage immediate customer needs
