- What You’ll Do
- Ensure robust engineering support through effective skills matrix development, and team capability upskilling.
- Drive manufacturing performance improvements by identifying root causes, implementing sustainable corrective actions, and leading continuous improvement initiatives including TPM, SMED, and DBS methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership for processes, products, equipment, validation, change control, and p FMEA activities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Lead cost and waste reduction programmes while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and business objectives.
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, and Right First Time performance by promoting best practices, supporting new equipment implementation, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Who You Are
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) engineer with a strong technical background and proven success within a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced in driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, OEE, SPC and Six Sigma methodologies to deliver sustainable business results.
- Strong leader and team player with proven people management skills, capable of influencing and engaging cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Data-driven decision maker with excellent problem-solving skills, able to prioritize effectively, implement change, and deliver improvements within regulated industries.
- Proficient in manufacturing technologies, automation, PLC/HMI systems, and relevant IT tools, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
