The

Biology Laboratory Technician is responsible for working within the GMP and GLP guidelines to complete scheduled work on time.

This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Lyo and Large Scale Value Stream located in Cardiff and will be an on-site role.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for manufacturing, QC testing, dispensing and pacing catalogue and custom products following documented processes as per production schedule.
  • Responsible for completing manufacturing batch records to GDP standards.
  • Responsible for highlighting quality defects and safety concerns.
  • Use manufacturing subject matter expertise to train other associates as required.
  • Participate in using Danaher Business System tools to meet daily core value driver targets for the area including safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost.

Who You Are

  • 1 year of relevant lab/manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
  • An understanding of Regulatory, EHS and Quality systems.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

  • Manufacturing or working in a laboratory
