Work within the Cytel Global Market Access business unit to lead and manage an integrated team of Associates and Consultants. Responsible for client and project leadership, as well as new opportunity and proposal development. Ensuring client satisfaction and providing the tactical execution necessary to drive accelerated demand, market share and revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as senior scientific oversight in client projects relating to access landscaping, payer value proposition, value dossiers, HTA submissions, JCA strategy and submission, plus other related services.
- Help the team ensure high quality and timely delivery of client work.
- Lead growth in collaboration with other subject matter experts and business developers, by connecting to clients and leading proposals.
- Serve as thought leader and subject matter expert in areas of market access related to own experience.
- Undertake external visibility engagements (conference presentations, webinars, peer reviewed publications and white papers etc.) to increase recognition of Cytel that leads to new business.
- Contribute to the operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department, as directed by senior management.
- Contribute to business development and sales and marketing activities by contributing to sales target.
- Contribute or lead planning and allocating resources to staff and accomplish the work effectively, meeting utilization goals.
- Supervise and mentor a strong, proactive team. This includes leading hiring and training staff as required.
- Contribute or lead with process improvement initiatives to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
- Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees meet organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among the team that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable success.
Qualifications:
- Education: At least Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, public health or other relevant scientific field. MBA, MD or PhD highly desirable.
- Experience: 7-10 years’ progressive experience in consulting, clinical trials or health research environment, including experience of Canadian market access and reimbursement submissions. Previous management experience required.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Influencing skills; Technology-minded with interest in AI capabilities; Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload with attention to detail; Financial and business acumen.
