Specialized Concept Store in Ruislip is looking for a driven and customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading cycling brands in a dynamic and fast-growing retail environment. As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day running of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales/web sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering excellent customer service and expert product advice.
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
- Help plan and execute in-store merchandising and promotional activities.
- Monitor store KPIs and help drive sales targets.
- Take ownership of specific operational areas (e.g. stock control, scheduling, events coordination).
- Step up to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience (bike industry experience is a strong advantage).
- A genuine passion for cycling and Specialized products.
