Cycle Race is a new E-Cargo & E-Bike business based in London, dedicated to offering innovative and technologically advanced E-Cargos & E-Bikes. We focus on delivering personalized customer service and making a positive impact in our local community.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Cycle Technician (part-time leading to full-time) who is eager to become an integral part of our growing team.
Role Highlights:
- Engage empathetically with customers to understand their bike issues
- Provide diagnostic guidance and recommend repairs, servicing, parts, and accessories
- Carry out repairs and servicing on E-Cargos and E-Bikes safely and to high standards using workshop tools and diagnostic software
- Generate technical reports and explain findings to customers
- Keep customers informed about delays or changes and obtain approval for additional work
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager / Head Workshop to ensure timely completion of jobs
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Perform PDI on bikes before handover
- Update inventory levels with the Branch Manager / Head Workshop
- Provide backup sales and advisory support on the shop floor when needed
Skills/Experience Required
- Deliver outstanding customer experience
- Minimum Cytech 2 qualification or equivalent (E-Bike qualification preferred)
- Knowledge of E-Cargo bikes
- Technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
- Reliable team player, proactive in busy environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK driving license (preferable)
- Experience with inventory systems (e.g., Citrus Lime, Lightspeed) is a plus
- Follow detailed policies and procedures
- Attention to detail in repairs and updates
- Positive attitude and good customer rapport
