We are looking for a passionate, dedicated individual to join our growing team at Big on Bikes.
About us: Big on Bikes is Derbyshire’s leading independent bike workshop. What really sets us apart from other shops is the dedication our staff have to delivering excellent customer service and unbeatable professional bike servicing and repairs as indicated by over 500 5* reviews on Google and Facebook.
The Role: This is a full role. We all share the same passion, drive and take a great deal of pride in everything we do. We are looking for a hands-on, technically minded individual who has the same passion and drive we do. You will need to be organised, manage your time between the workshop and advising customers, and take pride in every service/repair. You should be able to work under your own initiative and be a competent bike mechanic on all types of bikes including e-bikes. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing all types of bike faults, processing orders, and taking payments.
What you get: Big on Bikes believe in investing in our staff, so we will support you in continued training and development. This will include but is not limited to Cytech and other bicycle trade specific training. Competitive salary based on experience and expertise starting salary circa £24,500-£28,000 pa based on experience & qualifications. 28 days paid holiday plus your birthday and Little Eaton Carnival day off. Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week. Shifts based on working 5 days out of 7.
