We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Building Manager to join our London team, supporting the management of a mixed-use portfolio including office, retail and residential assets. This role is suited to someone with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in property or facilities management who is looking to take the next step in their career. It offers hands-on exposure across all aspects of building management, working closely with experienced colleagues while continuing to develop both technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management of a portfolio of mixed-use buildings
- Assist in ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard, aligned with health and safety and statutory requirements
- Help coordinate planned maintenance and reactive works
- Carry out property inspections and support reporting processes
- Monitor contractor performance and service delivery
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for occupiers, clients and contractors
- Build positive working relationships with tenants, residents and service partners
- Respond promptly and professionally to queries, ensuring a high level of customer service
- Support senior team members in managing client relationships
Financial & Reporting Support:
- Assist with service charge budgets and cost tracking
- Help monitor expenditure and maintain accurate financial records
- Support preparation of reports for clients and asset managers
Compliance & Risk:
- Assist in maintaining compliance records and certifications
- Support health and safety processes, including risk assessments and audits
- Ensure accurate and organised record keeping
Contractor & Supplier Coordination:
- Assist with the appointment and coordination of contractors
- Monitor service levels and escalate issues where required
About You:
This role is ideal for someone at an early stage in their career, with some hands-on experience already gained in a property, facilities or building management environment.
Essential:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in property or facilities management, or a similar role
- Experience interacting with clients, occupiers or contractors
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Working Pattern and Benefits:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 5:30pm
- Four days per week in the office or on site, with one day working from home following probation
