Job Title: Sales Representative Sales Territory: Northern Ireland Hours of work: Flexible, as required Closing date: 9th October 2026 Background Cyril Johnston & Co Ltd is a leading distributor of garden machinery in Ireland and the UK, working with some of the biggest brand names in its industry. We have exclusive distribution rights for many of these brands to a network of 300 plus specialist retailers. The business has also developed its own range of machinery products that are built in Asia. With ambitions to grow its business further over the next number of years a vacancy has arisen for a Sales Representative within our wholesale team. You must be conscientious, honest and hardworking, able to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment and learn and develop as the business grows. The successful candidate must be adaptable and flexible, proactive and able to work under pressure with great attention to detail, contributing to the company's continued development. Main Responsibilities Represent manufacturers brands and demonstrate products to customers To achieve annual sales targets contained within the Cyril Johnston business plan and to develop sales accounts To develop existing and new sales accounts offering a comprehensive service to our customer base To develop, build and maintain professional and profitable relationships with existing and prospective new customers Promote the companys values Essential Skills Able to work as part of a team Have a good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office products Able to use initiative and work unsupervised Good communication skills A full driving licence Proven track record of territory sales management Preferred Skills Experience working with customer accounts Technical or mechanical knowledge would be an advantage Sales experience selling mechanical or consumer products to resellers What we offer Competitive salary with uncapped commission (OTE £45k), company car, laptop, mobile phone and pension If you feel you meet our criteria, then please email your CV and covering letter by clicking in the apply button below.
