About the role

We are looking for casual workers who can cover occasional shifts when we have staff absence.

  • Supporting and encouraging participants in their recovery journey
  • Working to ensure the community is a homely, welcoming and safe space
  • Ensuring that all participants and peer workers have a space to feel heard and be able to contribute to decisions about the community
  • Mainly lone working, but still part of the wider LEAP team

About You

We are looking for someone who is great at building relationships with people and passionate about supporting others in their recovery journey. You should also be:

  • Able to maintain strong professional boundaries
  • Knowledgeable or have lived experience of the issues that lead to or affect addiction
  • An excellent communicator
  • Confident working on your own

You’ll be joining an experienced and knowledgeable team who will give you full training on all aspects of your role. There will be great opportunities for you to learn and develop, while sharing your skills and experiences.

At Cyrenians we tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness by taking a Public Health Approach to Homelessness Prevention. We take a values-led and relationships-based approach to delivering all our services.
