The predicted salary is between 14738 - 25967 € per year.

£25,967 pro rata, plus pension (£14,738 per annum for a 21-hour week) Based in Seafield, Edinburgh, working Wednesday to Friday.

About Cyrenians FareShare Depot

Cyrenians FareShare is part of the FareShare UK charity network established in 1994, which aims at relieving food poverty and reducing food waste in the United Kingdom. It does this by obtaining good quality surplus food from the food industry that would otherwise have gone to waste and distributing it to frontline charities and community groups across the UK.

About the role

You will be part of a small team of staff that works with 50+ volunteers helping to redistribute food to charities throughout South East and Central Scotland. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving deliveries, organising stock and packing orders
  • Delivering orders to our Community Food Members in our FareShare van
  • Supporting our volunteers with the day-to-day operations of the Depot

About You

You will be an outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a creative approach to problem solving. You will also be:

  • Hard working, motivated and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Organised with good IT skills
  • Able to work with a wide range of people from all backgrounds

How we’ll support you

You’ll be joining a small but experienced and knowledgeable team who will give you full introduction to all aspects of your role at the depot. You’ll have a supportive manager as well as access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
