We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team based in Alderley Park. As our Logistics Warehouse Operative, you will be a key member of a small team responsible for day-to-day warehouse tasks and completing them in an efficient, timely and profitable way.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Macclesfield, SK10 4TG

Role and Responsibilities as our Logistics Warehouse Operative:
- Support of regular warehouse supplies, warehousing, picking and internal distribution, and returning of goods.
- Carrying out monthly stock-takes, invoices, and query management to assist purchasing & finance.
- Physical transfer of stock within Alderley Park sites.
- Ensure the warehouse ERP system is accurately maintained in terms of stock quantity and location.
- Material Resource Planning for >340 inventory parts & >10,000 SKU’s.
- Shop floor management with daily morning meetings, provide support on other duties when required.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the store’s area and assist with 5S implementation within the department.
Skills & Competencies (essential):
- Must have experience with Warehouse ERP Systems.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Previous warehouse operations experience, ideally in laboratories/pharma.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications specifically Excel.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- A proactive approach to work with the ability to problem-solve issues.
- Positive attitude towards continuous improvement projects.
Benefits Package:
- Pension on completion (but not subject to) of your 3-month probationary period. Contributions 5% for employees (salary sacrifice) and 5% for the employer.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional length of service days awarded on the anniversary, up to a maximum of 30 days.
