As we scale globally, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (UK) to lead our growth and revenue expansion in the United Kingdom market.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (UK) will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, managing the full sales cycle, and establishing Cypien AI as a trusted MarTech partner for e-commerce, finance, healthcare, automotive, and additional brands in the UK. This role combines hands-on selling with strategic market development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue from the UK market.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to e-commerce and retail brands.
  • Manage the full B2B SaaS sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers (CMOs, Heads of E-commerce, Growth Managers, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management via CRM tools.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in MarTech, AdTech, or e-commerce technology.
  • Proven track record of closing mid-market or enterprise deals.
  • Strong understanding of the UK e-commerce and digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong forecasting and pipeline management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.
