CY Partners are partnering with a specialist chemical manufacturing business to recruit an experienced
QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance function at their Teesside site.
Reporting to the
Site Lead , you'll provide strategic and operational QA leadership, working closely with Operations, Technical, Engineering and SHEQ to drive quality standards, compliance and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the site QA function.
- Provide quality leadership as part of the senior site management team.
- Oversee quality systems, batch release, validation and qualification.
- Lead internal, customer and regulatory audits.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, speciality chemicals and wider regulatory requirements.
- Drive risk-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop quality personnel.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and regulators.
About You
You’ll be an established QA professional with significant experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals or another highly regulated manufacturing environment .
You’ll ideally have
- A relevant scientific or engineering degree .
- Strong GMP knowledge and ideally experience within pharmaceuticals or speciality chemicals.
- Experience with validation, qualification, technical transfer and quality systems.
- Experience managing audits and regulatory relationships.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- A pragmatic, risk-based approach to quality.
- The ability to influence, challenge constructively and drive cultural change.
