CY Partners is supporting a well established pharmaceutical organisation with the appointment of a Production Technician to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build practical skills in a regulated manufacturing environment, learn from experienced colleagues and develop a long term career within pharmaceuticals.
The opportunity: You’ll be involved in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, working to clearly defined SOPs and GMP standards. The role offers exposure across multiple manufacturing areas, with structured training and clear expectations around quality, documentation and compliance. It is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys working in a precise, structured environment, takes pride in producing high quality work and is keen to learn new skills and progress over time.
Key responsibilities
- Manufacturing products in line with GMP, SOPs and agreed timescale
- Completing all production and training documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to minimise cross contamination risk
- Cleaning and preparing glassware, equipment and manufacturing areas
- Rotating across manufacturing, staging and washroom areas as required
- Supporting stock control, material preparation and routine checks
- Accurately recording daily monitoring activities (e.g. balances, room pressures, water flushes)
- Working collaboratively to support a positive, professional production culture
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable working in structured, repetitive and regulated environments
- Able to manage fluctuating workloads and tight deadlines
- Proactive, reliable and quality-driven
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing
- Confidence using basic IT systems (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
