As part of the whole Council Performance and Modernisation team, the postholder will play a key role in helping the Council deliver its Council Plan by managing a wide range of projects. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and directing the necessary resources to ensure successful delivery of the projects.
- Delivering modernisation and improvement projects across Council services adhering to the authority’s standard project management method.
- Thorough planning, development and monitoring of the work programme.
- Problem solving and remedial action where necessary.
- Acting as Project Manager for cross-cutting projects, coordinating viable business cases in a timely manner.
