The role aims to increase the percentage of children taking part in extracurricular sport and physical activity within our communities, motivating them to be active at their chosen level. This will be achieved through the recruitment and training of more volunteer sports organisers, leaders, and coaches. The position embraces place-based working, focusing on the environment in which people live and work, and considers the barriers to physical activity, sport, and movement.

This role involves delivery and facilitation of activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the people of Anglesey are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Ensure that every child in Anglesey is hooked on Sport / being active for life.
  • Contribute to the vision of 'Mon Actif and Actif North Wales.'
  • Play a fundamental role in key communities via Sport and Leisure provision.
Requirements:
  • Appointment subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS.
