We are looking to recruit an Environmental Operative to join our busy Waste Collection Service on a full-time contract, based at our Penrhos Depot. There is an opportunity to join the Local Environmental Services team providing frontline collections of recycling, food waste, residual waste and glass. The Environmental Operative post holder may be required to work as part of the wider service including Street Cleansing and Ground Maintenance.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Loading refuse and recycling materials onto collection vehicles as required
- Emptying litter bins in designated areas
- Assisting with tasks across the wider Local Environmental Services team, in line with the role profile
Physical requirements of the role include:
- Lifting, sweeping, stretching, and bending
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
