We are looking to recruit a Manual Handling Compliance Officer to join our busy Health and Safety team. The role will develop systems that support and improve safe manual handling of residents in our care homes, while ensuring they receive person‑centred care.
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for manual handling within residential homes.
- Use your knowledge of the All Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme to create risk assessments, safe systems of work and monitor their implementation.
- Monitor standards of manual handling in the homes, ensuring safe practices are followed.
- Apply your experience in the care industry and training to support continuous improvement of manual handling.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the care industry.
- Knowledge of the All Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to deliver in Welsh or English.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
