Cardiff Councils Supported Accommodation Service provides accommodation, advice and support to vulnerable single people in housing need.
Our services run 24/7, 365 days a year and due to recent changes our service has expanded to meet the needs of the people accessing our provision.
About the job
We are recruiting for a post within our Complex Needs Service.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake 3 shifts per week (8am-8pm) on a rota pattern which include bank holidays and weekends.
The Supported Accommodation Officer role is an exciting opportunity for committed to deliver accommodation provision provided to single people.
The post will form part of a team who are responsible for all aspects of managing a supported accommodation unit including building management, housing management, day-to-day running of the service and engaging with residents.

We are looking for dynamic, motivated and creative individuals with the ability to foster positive relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity and we are looking for a variety of people from various working backgrounds to make a real difference.
Proven experience of working with people with complex behaviours and an understanding of the issues faced by homeless individuals will be an advantage.
The working environment can be challenging so the ability to remain calm under pressure will be an advantage. The role will require the successful candidate to support the management team with all aspects of the service.
