An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing & Communities Service Area for the post of a Gas Engineer.

About the job

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all required legislative procedures and provide assistance to ensure a high quality customer service is maintained. You will need to comply with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 in all gas installations within council buildings, ensure that all equipment, materials and stock is well maintained and in good condition and take responsibility to ensure, that council buildings comply with all Building Regulations.

What We Are Looking For From You

NVQ Level 2 (Heating & Pluming) or/ City & Guilds basic craft certificate or equivalent in an approved trade is essential for this post.
