Telecare Cardiff is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team of Control Centre Operators.
About the job
The candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of Telecare and out of hours repair calls from start to finish, as well as operating alarm receiving software. The post is for an average of 28 hours per week and is subject to night time and weekend enhancements.
What We Are Looking For From You
The candidate should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with successful applicants possessing excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to adapt and learn quickly. A positive and customer focused attitude is essential. A genuine desire to help and plenty of empathy are the keys to success in this role. The role operates over a 24-hour rotating shift pattern, meaning the successful candidate will work a combination of morning, afternoon and night shifts.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
