An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual who enjoys providing care within an outreach community setting, working within our Community Hubs and Care hubs, delivering Hubs For All service within the local community.

About the job

The successful applicant will work as part of an established team supporting adults living with early onset dementia to access daytime opportunities within a community venue. The role requires the post holder to deliver quality care & support to ensure service users physical and emotional well-being needs are met; along with delivering & supporting participation in social & recreational activities.
This is a temporary post until 28/12/26

What We Are Looking For From You

Experience of working with older people living with early onset dementia. Ideally, you should hold the QCF care level 2 for the post, along with the willingness to undertake relevant designated training courses.
You will need to be flexible as this post involves weekend working on a rota basis along with service delivery within citywide locations.
You will have a positive & happy attitude, along with the ability to engage, encourage and support service users.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This vacancy is suitable for post share.
Weekend working will be required on a rota basis within Community or Care Hubs.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
