To deliver an event of this scale and significance, Cardiff Council is building a high performing team and is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, City Experience to shape and lead the city wide visitor journey for EURO 2028.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the largest sporting events ever hosted in Wales and help create a lasting legacy for Cardiff and its communities.

About the job

As Senior Manager, City Experience, you will play a leading role in shaping and delivering the city wide visitor journey for EURO 2028. You will bring together every touchpoint that defines how Cardiff feels during the tournament from wayfinding, city dressing and fan services to volunteering and visitor information.

You will also lead the development and delivery of an exciting cultural and experience programme, ensuring Cardiff residents can actively engage with, celebrate and benefit from this extraordinary moment.

Working across the Council, UEFA, partners, communities and stakeholders, you will help create a welcoming, inclusive and unforgettable experience for residents, visitors and fans. Your work will help build civic pride, showcase Cardiff and Wales to the world, and create a lasting legacy long after the final whistle.

You will bring a strong track record of leading complex, high profile programmes and working across multiple partners and organisations to deliver at scale. You will be confident bringing together diverse teams, stakeholders and communities around a shared ambition, with the creativity and commercial awareness to deliver memorable visitor and resident experiences.
