Cardiff Education Catering operates a service to circa 120 Secondary, Primary, and Special schools in Cardiff through 500 staff producing around 4 million meals per annum, providing breakfast, lunch and therapeutic diets for pupils, vending services and occasion catering for business meetings.
The Cook in Charge will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business and service activities in the catering facility. The applicant will be required to work term time only, be able to demonstrate the ability to cook to a high standard, have good communication skills and help with all aspects of the business, working in accordance with health, safety & hygiene legislation.

This role is part-time at 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. The advertised salary is based on a full-time role (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). The actual salary will be lower than the advertised salary because of the part-time hours and weeks worked.
