CATERING MANAGER - YSGOL GYFUN GYMRAEG PLASMAWR in Cardiff

Responsible for managing all aspects of the catering business and service activities in the catering facility

To manage the food production including, menu planning, food ordering, food presentation and service. The day to day organisation and supervision of food service and promotion of the service to pupils and school personnel.

To ensure policies, protocols and procedures determined by Cardiff Catering, Cardiff Council and legislation are adhered to.

Supervision of other employees, including allocation of duties, work rotas and training.

• Good knowledge of food hygiene and hazard analysis

Additional information

This role is part‑time at 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. The advertised salary is based on a full-time role (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). The actual salary will be lower than the advertised salary because of the part‑time hours and weeks worked.

Appointment to this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a Child Workforce Barred List check.
