Responsible for managing all aspects of the catering business and service activities in the catering facility
About the job
To manage the food production including, menu planning, food ordering, food presentation and service. The day to day organisation and supervision of food service and promotion of the service to pupils and school personnel.
To ensure policies, protocols and procedures determined by Cardiff Catering, Cardiff Council and legislation are adhered to.
Supervision of other employees, including allocation of duties, work rotas and training.

Strong leadership and motivational skills including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Financial and budgeting skills
Good knowledge of food hygiene and hazard analysis
Strong organisational and time management skills

Actual Salary: Β£23,832 per annum. This salary is based on working 35 hours per week and 39 weeks per year, rather than a full-time role of 37 hours per week and 52
Please note: The salary shown assumes a start date of 1 st September. If you start after 1 st September, your salary for your first school year will be lower than the amount shown above because you will work fewer weeks.
