Working directly to the Business Operations & Events Manager and Parks Programme Manager, you will provide comprehensive project, financial and administrative support across a varied portfolio of parks projects.
You will be responsible for coordinating project information, supporting procurement and finance processes, organising meetings, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including contractors, elected members, suppliers and members of the public.
This role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute directly to projects that improve parks and public spaces across the city.

Cardiff Council's Parks Service is seeking a Business Programme Support Officer (Design) to join the Operational Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of park improvement and capital projects that enhance some of Cardiff's most valued green spaces.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across a range of projects, from initial concept through to completion. Responsibilities will include coordinating the procurement of goods and services, while building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including Procurement and Finance teams.
You will be a confident and effective communicator, capable of providing a high standard of service to both internal and external customers through written correspondence, telephone enquiries and the management of shared email inboxes.
The role requires excellent IT skills, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. You will be an adaptable team player with experience of working in a busy office environment. A commitment to providing high-quality administrative support and customer service is essential.
