The Product Support role is responsible for providing front-end user and administrative support for GBAS systems. This position focuses on system maintenance, permissions management, file validation, deployment coordination, and operational support to ensure system stability, performance, and compliance across multiple environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-end user and administrative support for GBAS systems.
- Perform permission maintenance and auditing across all environments.
- Validate, test, remediate, and generate letter files including PendLetter, Elig, and COBRA files.
- Monitor and manage ticket queues, complete requests, and provide issue resolution support.
- Coordinate and support development deployments and consulting activities.
- Perform backup tape validation and support backup-related tasks.
- Maintain vendor relationships.
- Conduct monthly maintenance activities including data file loading, optimization, and data purging.
- Perform OpenVMS-related administrative and support tasks as required.
- Validate completion of system processing and data outputs.
- Monitor and maintain sufficient disk space for daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Create, monitor, and maintain automated system jobs to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Perform quarterly audits, permission reviews, backup refresh tests, and system refresh activities.
- Support lower environment refreshes as needed.
