We are recruiting on behalf of a premium care provider for an experienced and passionate Clinical Services Manager to join the leadership team of a luxury care and nursing home in Reigate. Working alongside the General Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership across the home, ensuring the highest standards of nursing care, regulatory compliance and team performance are consistently achieved.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead all clinical and care services within the home, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered to every resident. You will be responsible for driving clinical quality, supporting operational performance and developing a highly engaged nursing and care team. You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving outcomes and supporting the overall success of the service. As part of the senior leadership team, you will deputise for the General Manager when required and contribute towards achieving the home's operational and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to the nursing and care teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of clinical and care services, ensuring consistently high standards of safe, person-centred care.
  • Lead clinical governance, audits and quality improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and best practice.
  • Manage care planning, risk assessments, clinical documentation and medication management to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Plan and manage staffing rotas, ensuring safe staffing levels and the efficient deployment of clinical and care teams.
  • Coach, mentor and develop nurses and care staff through supervision, competency assessments and ongoing professional development.
  • Manage care service budgets and resources, supporting the achievement of operational and financial objectives.
  • Champion the effective use of electronic care planning and clinical systems, providing guidance and support to the wider team.
  • Support incident investigations, safeguarding processes and clinical decision-making, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Deputise for the General Manager when required, supporting the overall leadership and performance of the home.

About You

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Services Manager, Clinical Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or similar senior clinical leadership role within a nursing home.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of elderly care, complex nursing needs and clinical governance.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • Proven experience leading, motivating and developing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
  • Confident managing staffing, clinical performance and service delivery.
  • Competent using electronic care planning and clinical management systems.
  • Compassionate, proactive and committed to delivering outstanding resident care.
