We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized residential care home in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, family-run provider with strong operational support in place.
This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice
- Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team
- Maintain high standards of care and resident experience
- Support occupancy and oversee assessments for prospective residents
- Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home
- Experience managing within a residential or nursing home setting
- Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of regulatory standards and compliance
- Adaptable, resilient, and hands-on approach
