Join Cynergy Bank as a Relationship Director within our Financial Institutions Group, focused on structured finance and specialty lending. This is a senior role for an experienced deal-maker who can originate, structure and independently execute transactions through to completion.

  • You will operate at the front end of the Bank, originating new opportunities while taking full ownership of transactions across structuring, credit approval, due diligence and legal execution.
  • This role is suited to a Relationship Director with proven end-to-end execution capability — not a pure originator or coverage banker.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Originate structured finance and specialty lending transactions aligned to the Bank’s strategy
  • Own deals end-to-end, driving transactions through credit, due diligence and legal execution to completion
  • Structure transactions to a high, executable standard from the outset
  • Lead all aspects of deal execution, including managing advisors, diligence and legal documentation
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with sponsors, borrowers and market counterparties
  • Partner with Credit, Risk and Legal to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes
  • Maintain strong discipline across pipeline, governance and regulatory requirements (AML, KYC)

What You Will Bring

  • Proven track record of originating, structuring and closing structured finance transactions end-to-end
  • Hands-on experience managing due diligence and legal processes through to completion
  • Ability to write and structure deals requiring minimal rework or senior intervention
  • Strong experience across Real Estate Finance, structured lending or similar asset-backed transactions
  • Experience executing transactions directly or on a loan-on-loan basis
  • Strong credit judgement, financial modelling and high-quality credit paper writing
  • A deep understanding of risk, governance and regulatory expectations in lending
  • An established network of introducers, sponsors and borrowers
