This is a permanent opportunity to join our Relationship Management team based in Birmingham. As Relationship Director, you will play a leading role in delivering the Bank's regional growth strategy, managing a portfolio of business customers (£5m-£60m lending) whilst leading and developing a small team. Your work will help drive sustainable business growth, maintain strong risk standards and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

How You Will Make an Impact:
- Deliver sustainable portfolio growth and income performance in line with the Bank's Business Banking strategy.
- Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of business customers (£5m-£60m lending).
- Maximise new lending opportunities and drive product uptake with existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.
- Independently assess and prepare high-quality lending proposals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the Bank remains competitive.
- Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC and regulatory requirements.
- Champion a high-quality customer experience and continuous process improvement.
- Lead, coach and develop team members to achieve individual and collective success.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in Business, Commercial or Corporate Banking relationship management.
- Demonstrable experience managing a lending portfolio within the SME, Commercial or Corporate Banking market.
- Strong credit assessment and lending structuring capabilities across a range of transactions.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Sound understanding of risk, governance, AML and KYC frameworks.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing colleagues.
- Ability to motivate others and build high-performing teams.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving results.
- Experience managing and developing a small team, including responsibility for an Associate Director and Associate.
