Contract: Fixed Term Contract (3 Months)

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

What's the Opportunity?

This is a three-month fixed-term opportunity to support the delivery of an important Basel III remediation programme. Working directly with clients and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for obtaining, validating and maintaining regulatory information required to support the Bank's prudential regulatory obligations. You will play a key role in a client outreach and data remediation project, engaging with customers to gather information, reviewing the data received for accuracy and completeness, and ensuring records are updated correctly within our systems. This role would suit someone with experience in banking operations, client services, risk, finance or a similar environment who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple stakeholders to deliver outcomes within agreed timescales.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Engage directly with clients to obtain regulatory, financial and customer information required for the remediation programme.
  • Review information received to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify data gaps and work with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding requirements.
  • Liaise with Relationship Management, Risk, Finance and Operations teams to support delivery of remediation activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, responses and outstanding actions.
  • Ensure customer data is accurately updated and maintained within relevant Bank systems.
  • Monitor progress against agreed timelines and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
  • Escalate risks, issues and delays where appropriate.
  • Produce updates and management information to support project governance and oversight.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience gained within a banking or regulated financial services environment.
  • Experience within Customer Operations, Client Services, Risk, Finance, Operations or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of Basel requirements and the importance of high-quality regulatory data.
  • Experience communicating with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following established processes and controls.

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

  • Experience supporting remediation, regulatory change or data quality initiatives.
  • Knowledge of prudential regulation or regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience working within project-based environments.
