What’s the opportunity? This is a permanent Risk role sitting at the heart of our lending activity, partnering directly with Origination, Relationship Management, and Cynergy Business Finance teams. You’ll operate as a true business partner, working alongside senior stakeholders, promoting a proactive risk culture where colleagues understand how risk relates to their day to day role and supports sustainable growth. This is a highly visible role where your judgement and insight will directly influence front line business, shape risk appetite, strengthen risks and controls, and impact the bank’s long-term risk profile.

How you’ll make an impact:
- Act as a trusted Lending Risk Partner, providing insight and challenge on products, processes and portfolio risk
- Lead and shape risk forums, driving transparency, accountability, and action
- Embed practical, scalable risk frameworks and monitoring approaches
- Own incident and issue management, ensuring meaningful insight and resolution
- Provide independent, credible challenge while maintaining strong relationships
- Deliver clear, insight-led reporting and forward-looking risk analysis

- Experience in risk management within UK banking or financial services
- Exposure to lending, product or front-office teams
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
