Cynd Residential Homes Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, to help establish and lead the home from day one. This is a rare opportunity to build a home properly from the ground up, with a supportive Responsible Individual, realistic occupancy planning, and a clear focus on quality, safeguarding, and staff wellbeing.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experienced registered manager with substantial residential experience who is ready to set up a new house. Support will be provided with Ofsted registration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the children’s home.
  • Prepare for and maintain Ofsted registration and compliance.
  • Build, lead, and retain a stable staff team.
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding and child-centered care.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate, inspection-ready documentation.
  • Promote positive outcomes and stability for children.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3 years’ experience in children’s residential care.
  • Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or trainee manager.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Confident leadership style with a calm, organised approach.
  • Ability to make safe, child-focused decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed or working towards).
