About the role

The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business opportunities within their territory. This includes managing the customer acquisition process from lead to close and actively developing pipeline whilst delivering short-term results. The Account Executive role is to ultimately help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets within their territory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly / quarterly targets by driving new opportunities and successfully selling our solutions into new accounts.
  • Manage the entire new business sales process from lead to close, to ensure delivery against key performance metrics.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge / networking.
  • Generate short term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.
  • Daily update of CRM with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.
  • Experience in selling software solutions, especially in the kitchen and bathroom industries, would be advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Sales representative with a focus on new business sales, ideally supporting small to medium-sized companies.
  • Ability to effectively manage a designated territory, including identifying and prioritizing target accounts and allocating resources accordingly.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closure. This includes skills in prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Proficiency in negotiating terms and pricing with customers to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs monthly and quarterly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong skills in building and nurturing customer relationships, both with existing clients and new prospects.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Salesforce), Microsoft Office suite, and other sales productivity tools is beneficial for managing customer data, forecasting, and reporting.
  • A good understanding of the kitchen and bathroom industries, including knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and key stakeholders.
