The Sales Manager will take responsibility for growing and enhancing the business relationship on Wireless Services between Cyient and all the Mobile Operators/CSPs in the United Kingdom. He/She is a subject matter and customer expert who will provide leadership in the accounts to foster and manage the relationships to drive mutual revenue growth. He/She owns and develops the customer relationships, addressing needs and issues through a thorough understanding of the customers’ business, and then works with the internal engineering teams to define appropriate offerings. The right candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proven track record of initiative and successful positioning of Wireless Connectivity offerings to CSPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will have complete responsibility for achieving the revenue targets laid out by the business.
- The role will maintain sales volume, offerings mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
- Ensure all key technical decision-makers understand how Cyient’s offerings work, how they affect the customer’s business and infrastructure, and that they are comfortable and supportive of the solution, deployment, and integration plans.
- Generate and maintain accurate Account and Opportunity plans on Wireless opportunities with Mobile operators/CSPs present in the United Kingdom.
- Understand and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, technology, processes, and current partnerships.
- Drive the creation of customer proposals and complex contract negotiations to successful closure; resolve issues with customers and internal teams.
- Manage and implement sales forecasting, planning, and buyer-driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency for all sales opportunities.
- Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically.
- Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Interface with internal technical support teams to resolve issues that directly impact partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Perform related job duties as assigned and required.
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with experience selling to large mobile operators/CSPs required.
- Experience with sales and support of wireless products/services and knowledge of wireless data communication services and technologies.
- Experience administering and negotiating contracts involving wireless solutions/services.
- Must have strong financial acumen to meet both assigned financial and sales volume objectives.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred.
