Railway Telecoms Designer
With a strong understanding of the technical and business aspects of railway telecoms, including Operational and Station Information and Security Systems, the Telecoms Designer will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams, providing technical support, production, and mentoring as required.
Responsibilities
- Produce deliverables in accordance with client and governance requirements for Telecoms and related projects.
- Design Telecoms projects to meet defined timelines.
- Lead and understand system interfaces between Telecoms and other disciplines such as Signalling, E&P, and Civils.
- Produce Telecoms designs and documentation maintaining consistent quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication or equivalent qualification or relevant work experience.
- Knowledge and experience in telecommunications engineering for railways.
- Ability and desire to work successfully with multicultural teams across different countries with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
