Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in achieving and maintaining the efficient and economic production of quality food whilst ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained.
  2. Prepare, cook, and serve meals, hot and cold, as appropriate. Responsible for providing special diets where necessary, considering the preferences of individual residents.
  3. Maintain accurate records of food supplies, freezer temperature requirements, etc., while ensuring Statutory Health and Safety Standards in the kitchen and dining areas.

About You:

  1. NVQ 2 or equivalent, or evidence of similar experience in catering.
  2. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is not essential as training will be provided on-site.
  3. Expertise in dietary requirements (e.g., Halal, diabetic, vegan).
  4. Knowledge of nutrition and ability to plan nourishing and attractive menus within available budgets.
