We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will be working 42 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Victoria House. Cygnet Victoria House is a 26-bed mental health inpatient service for men. The service, split across two wards, provides a safe and stabilising environment for men experiencing an acute episode of mental illness requiring emergency admission. The ethos of our service focuses on assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment, with robust and timely discharge planning.
We support service users in managing their mental health, reinforcing daily living skills, and preparing for independent life back in the community. Our team collaborates closely with service users, their families, and referrers to ensure a seamless pathway from referral to discharge. Our recovery-focused approach is supported by comprehensive multidisciplinary teams, which contribute to shorter lengths of stay.
