We are looking for an experienced & organized HR Administrator with a passion for making a difference to others.

You\’ll be working 40 hours per week at Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood, helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.

Cygnet Bury Forestwood offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute, and Low Secure services across four wards, providing a defined treatment pathway from admission through to intervention and discharge, including rapid assessment and treatment.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces, including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden, and woodland walkways down to Elton Reservoir.

In addition, there is a diverse educational programme at Forestwood School, registered with the Department for Education, teaching a range of subjects.

Your day-to-day…

  • Take joint responsibility for recruitment and training administration processes of all staff at the hospital;
  • Ensure HR systems and training databases are up to date with staff records, investigations, grievances, and training data;
  • Provide administrative support to management regarding meetings, reports, and correspondence, including notetaking;
  • Support with absence management;
  • Attend weekly recruitment calls with recruitment and HR teams;
  • Prepare weekly compliance reports;
  • Provide data as needed for colleagues;
  • Support managers with HR aspects such as Occupational Health;
  • Present at new starter inductions;
  • Set up meetings like absence review, disciplinary, welfare, and flexible working requests;
  • Send monthly training reminders to staff;
  • Pull training data as required;
  • Act as the unit HR link for health and wellbeing and company benefits, including Employee Assistance Programme, rehabilitation services, maternity, healthcare, pension, and life cover information.

You are…

  • CIPD level 3 desirable;
  • HR, training, or administration experience preferred;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and databases;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Flexible and adaptable;
  • Responsible and service-oriented;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Committed to staff development.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
