We are looking for a Billing Compliance Assistant to join our finance team at Kings Hill.

Hybrid Working with 2 days in the office

This is an exciting role within the established Billing Compliance Team. The purpose of the role is to provide the billing team with clear and concise documentation to enable production of accurate and timely invoicing. You will be part of a small team, helping collate information to build an individual portfolio for each service user. Ultimately creating a paper trail, evidencing all agreed rates and any changes to said care packages throughout the duration of residency within our services. This role will also be key in improving the communication between billing, commercial and sites working closely with all.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • To ensure the accuracy of billing all service user bed fees including all aspects of the care package agreed upon/during admission by compiling and verifying information provided by wider teams.
  • Monitor all admissions, ensure the data across all eSystems and our records align.
  • Review and action where appropriate any correspondence received from external parties in relation to fees including but not limited to, amendments to care packages, individual agreements and changes to funding responsibilities.
  • Provide general support to all peers within the billing compliance team and wider teams including billing, commercial and credit control as well as site staff.
  • Assist with any ad hoc rate queries

Person Specification

Our billing processes can be quite complex, so the ideal candidate will need good communication skills and a fine attention to detail. An analytical and/or methodological way of thinking would also be highly beneficial as our historic rate queries can pose somewhat of a challenge. They should be willing to work as part of a team and demonstrate the ability to prioritise their workload to meet strict deadlines. A strong proficiency in excel is desirable.

1-2 years\’ experience of billing or office administration is desirable.
