We are currently recruiting for an Activity Coordinator with previous experience working with Young People, CAMHS services, or Mental Health. The ideal candidate should be confident in leading, structuring, and planning activities with challenging individuals, ensuring a fun and constructive leisure time.
You will work 37.5 hours per week, from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm, on a rota of Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday (Week 1) and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Week 2) at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield.
Cygnet Hospital Sheffield offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, CAMHS acute, and CAMHS low secure services over three wards. They provide individualised care for young people experiencing a mental health crisis, especially those who cannot be supported in community settings or require longer inpatient stays. The services focus on creating safe, therapeutic environments to help young people stabilise and reduce the need for hospital treatment.
Unicorn Ward is a CAMHS Tier 4 PICU service supporting young people of all genders with complex needs requiring high-intensity nursing care. The focus is on stabilisation and enabling transition to general wards or community services. The ward is equipped to provide robust care for young people displaying significant challenging behaviour.

- Developing, planning, implementing, and overseeing activities, outings, and events for those in our care
- Providing fun, constructive leisure activities, along with physical and emotional support
- Ensuring staff, space, and materials are available for all activities
- Supervising, overseeing, and developing colleagues
- Creating promotional materials for events
