The role at Natural Resources Wales (NRW) involves working within the Flood Risk Analysis team, which plays a vital part in protecting communities by developing and maintaining flood risk mapping and modelling.

As a Flood Risk Analysis Advisor, you will help manage NRW's extensive flood risk data, providing hydraulic models and technical guidance to colleagues and external partners. The role will require you to visit remote sites at short notice to undertake site visits and post-flood investigations. The ability to drive is beneficial, but adjustments can be made to support a successful candidate who cannot drive.

  • Undertake health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post.
  • Be committed to Natural Resources Wales Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy, together with an understanding of how it operates within the responsibilities of the post.
  • Be committed to your own development through the effective use of your personal development plan (known as Sgwrs).
