The predicted salary is between 500 - 1500 £ per month.

This placement role is for an individual who has recently gained a postgraduate, RICS-accredited qualification in rural estate management or a related discipline. The program supports the development of practical experience, knowledge and skills for a career in land management, with the aim of enabling the trainee to become a member of RICS after passing the Assessment of Professional Competence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Natural Resources Wales across Land Management, Forest Operations and wider operational teams.
  • Work closely with and be mentored by the Senior Specialist Surveyor, the Land Management Team Leader and their Specialist Advisors.
  • Assist in the management of the NRW estate in Mid-South, including productive forest blocks, National Nature Reserves, flood-risk management assets and other rural assets.
  • Participate in training and face-to-face meetings as scheduled, following a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in an RICS-accredited rural estate management discipline or similar.
  • Willingness to pursue the Assessment of Professional Competence for RICS membership.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
