Responsibilities
- Conduct research aligned with the Centre’s research pillars and strategic priorities
- Collaborate with internal research groups (MRGs) on joint research activities
- Contribute to publications, proposals, and funded research projects
- Acknowledge the Centre affiliation in all relevant publications and proposals
- Participate in joint industry–academic activities where applicable
- Comply with the Centre’s Code of Conduct and professional standards
- Support the Centre’s mission through active and ethical research engagement

- PhD or advanced postgraduate degree in a relevant field (or equivalent research experience)

- Experience in academic, applied, or industry-linked research activities
- Commitment to ethical conduct and professional research standards
- Availability to actively contribute during the affiliation period
Application process
Interested candidates are required to complete and submit the official CYENS Research Fellowship Application Form via the designated application link. The application must be submitted together with:
- A detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
- A written description of the proposed research activities (including research topic, project, and plan)
Applications will be assessed in accordance with the Centre’s internal policies and procedures. Shortlisted candidates may be requested to provide additional documentation or participate in further evaluation. The conferral of any affiliation is subject to internal approval and formal written appointment by the Centre.

CYENS Centre of Excellence (formerly known as RISE) is the Research and Innovation Centre on Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies empowering knowledge and technology transfer in the region.
