Overall job purpose
Work in the R&D to design and manufacture prototypes design.
Conduct prototype manufacturing trials.
Measure different properties on prototypes and document results.
Mentoring by experienced senior engineers to get mechanical and electronics engineering.
To gain experience working with an ISO 13458 (Medical Device) environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare process development trials
- Support and/or conduct trials independently
- Support and/or conduct product testing independently
- Document trials and results
- Test prototypes and document results
- Support writing of Procedures and Work instructions
- Support Planning from prototype to production
- Define and Document key processes parameters
- Support Manufacturing Engineering as required
These tasks are not intended as an exhaustive list of the post holder\’s duties. The post holder is expected to carry out any reasonable request as deemed appropriate by the Shift Leader to support business needs. Specific responsibilities and authorities are defined in procedures relevant to the role.

Essential
- Completed Year 2 toward a bachelor degree in Engineering (BEng Mechanical, Medical, Electronics)
Essential
- Completed Year 3 toward a master\’s degree in Engineering (MEng Mechanical, Medical, Electronics)
Desirable
- Experience using MS Office
